The Apparel Textile and Merchandising Major ultimately gives each student a great overview of the Fashion industry. As you take more of the introduction classes you slowly find what you like versus what you might not be so great at. I appreciate the organization of this program, and how it builds its information based on previous classes taken. I found that I loved visual design. I majored in Apparel Textile and Merchandising and minored in Apparel Design which allowed me to specialize in a specific section of the industry.
